Robert D. 'Quilly' Quill
LOWELL Robert D. 'Quilly' Quill, 60, of Lowell, died after sudden heart failure with his family by his side, Monday, March 7, 2011 at Saints Medical Center. He was the husband of Linda (Courtessi) Quill, with whom they celebrated their eighteenth Wedding Anniversary September 19, 2010.
Born September 4, 1950, in Lawrence, he was a son of the late John J. Quill, and the late Isabel M. (Anderson) Quill. He was brought up in Lowell, and attended the local schools including Lowell High School and Newman Prep School in Boston.
He was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. He was employed as a General Manager for twenty five years for Prince Macaroni. He was also previously employed for Budweiser in Tewksbury, DJ Reardon, and California Paints. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, reading, and keeping up with the news and current events.
Besides his wife, Linda (Courtessi) Quill, he is survived by a daughter, Chanel C. Quill of Lowell; three sisters, Kathy Gwiazda and her husband, David of Lowell, Linda Deignan and her husband, William of Tewksbury, and Barbara Burgett and her husband, Wayne of Hudson, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late John Quill Jr. and the late Noreen Kasilowski.
