Louise (Avola) Kilderry

"Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother"

LOWELL Louise (Avola) Kilderry, 64, of Lowell, died October 25, 2011 after a long battle with lung cancer at her home with her daughter and husband by her side.

Mrs. Kilderry was born in Chelsea, MA on August 19, 1947, the daughter of the late Rosario and the late Janet (Pelosi) Puccio and resided in Billerica for 14 years before moving to Lowell 22 years ago.

She is survived by her only daughter, Jennifer Avola of Amesbury, her beloved grandson, her 'honey boy' Garrett Burgess also of Amesbury; and her best friend and husband, Robert Kilderry formerly of Waltham to whom she shared her life with for more than 22 years - they also had a son together, the late Robert Kilderry Jr. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Kevin and Kelly Kilderry, and David Fitzgerald, whom she loved like a son; her sister, Claire Grillo and her brother in law, Martin Grillo of Nashua, NH, and sister Judith Schwedler of Andover; plus her niece and nephews, Luis Puccio, Ronald and Richard Chambers, Tom Baney, David Schwedler and Beth Schwedler Siepmann.

Mrs. Kilderry worked at Antonio's Restaurant in Billerica for over 30 years with the late Sam Rico and her life long friends, Bunny, Georgette, Barbie, and Joannie. Her two favorite animals that she loved with all her heart and cared for until their last day were Muffin and Lucky.
