"Beloved Father and Grandfather"

LOWELL Joseph W. 'Chucky' Tilton Jr., 53, of Amesbury, MA, died unexpectedly after a long illness Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. He was the husband of the late Wanda (Bates) Tilton whom passed away in 2001.
Born June 21, 1957, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Joseph W. Tilton Sr., and the late Elaine (LeDuc) Tilton and attended the Lowell area schools.
He was a longtime Lowell resident before more recently residing in Amesbury. Chucky loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson's. He enjoyed playing cards and scratch tickets, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his heart and soul.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Tilton and his wife, Erica of Amesbury, and Christopher Tilton and his wife, Kimberly of Amesbury; two daughters, Tracie M. Tilton and her companion, Patrick Keating of Amesbury, and April M. Tilton and her companion, Kile Merrill of Amesbury; two sisters, Deborah Chandonnet and her husband, Normand of Tampa, FL, and Sandra Desrosiers and her husband, Robert of Lowell; nine grandchildren, Austin Lopes, Brianna Tilton, J.T. Tilton, Madison Tilton, Leah Tilton, Kile Merrill Jr., Kayden Keating, Ava Tilton, Nathan Tilton, and a tenth grandchild on the way; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was also the father of the late Jessica Tilton and the late John Tilton; brother of the late LuAnn LaCasse
