
Anna (Fitzpatrick) Fierimonte
LOWELL Anna (Fitzpatrick) Fierimonte, 78, a lifelong Belvidere resident, died of complications from a heart attack suffered on her recent birthday, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. She was the wife of the late George Fierimonte whom passed away in April 2010.
Born February 21, 1933, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Edward Fitzpatrick, and the late Mary (Viliski) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Grammar School where she sang in he church choir for many years. She then graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1952, where she was a Captain in the Lowell High School Girl Officers Regiment.
She resided in Belvidere and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church where she was a member of the Holy Rosary Society. During her early years she worked as a Traffic Supervisor for the City of Lowell and later for the Lowell Public Library. She was a member of the Poor Clare Guild, League of Catholic Women, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Billerica Irish American Social Club.
She is survived by two sons, George Fierimonte and his wife, Janice of Tewksbury, and Mark J. Fierimonte of Pocasset; a daughter, Sheila Fierimonte of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Colleen Connolly Mbuyu and her husband, Yohe, Mark Jr., Tiffany, Meghan, Matthew, Marisa, Sarah, and John Fierimonte; two great grandchildren, Anna Maria and George Mbuyu; a nephew, George Byron; and a niece, Mary Ann Battle.
She was also the sister of the late Mary Byron.
